Synopsis
In the summer of 1980 during the Olympics in Moscow, a seemingly ordinary Soviet teenager named Valerka arrives at a pioneer camp called 'Thunderbird'. Initially expecting three weeks of carefree recreation, Valerka secretly aims to investigate his brother's mysterious death. Soon after arriving, he discovers that one of his roommates is a vampire. Driven by curiosity and determination, Valerka teams up with friends to uncover how vampires ended up in the camp, how to destroy them, and who was behind his brother's murder. Along the way, Valerka learns about trust, love, and the true cost of freedom. In his quest to save everyone, he himself becomes a vampire.

Kitchenblock is a Russian coming-of-age drama with elements of action and adventure, set against the backdrop of the USSR in 1980 during the Moscow Olympics.
