Synopsis
Jeux d'influence (series) begins with farmer Michel Villeneuve collapsing in his field after using a weed killer produced by agrochemical giant Saskia. He is diagnosed with leukemia, which prompts his childhood friend Guillaume Delpierre, a principled politician, to crusade for the pesticide's ban. Guillaume enlists the help of his ambitious assistant Romain Corso. They clash with Mathieu Bowman, a powerful lobbyist hired by Saskia. Meanwhile, the Head of Marketing at Saskia is found dead in the Seine. His daughter Chloé teams up with former journalist Claire Lansel, now part of Bowman's team, to investigate behind the scenes.
