Synopsis
Fleurs du mal tells the story of Gecko, a young and free-spirited individual living in Paris, and Anahita, an Iranian exile who is deeply invested in the current events happening in her home country. The two become entwined in a rootless love story as their lives intersect and their relationship becomes increasingly influenced by the historical and political events unfolding around them, particularly those concerning Iran. As their love deepens, so does Anahita's obsession with the news from her homeland, which begins to consume their relationship and shape it in ways neither of them could have predicted.
