Synopsis
Ruth and Michel separate when Ruth begins an affair with another man, Paul. They spend summer at Ruth's beachside villa, where a series of unsettling events occur. First, Ruth's car breaks down suddenly, nearly causing an accident. Later, while diving together, her equipment malfunctions, almost drowning her. After these incidents, Michel unexpectedly arrives at their doorstep. Though initially welcomed by Paul, Ruth suspects Michel might be behind the accidents. Paul shares this suspicion with Michel during a private conversation, but he dismisses it publicly. As tensions rise between the trio, more dangerous events unfold.
