Synopsis
In 'Das Haus', journalist Johann, banned from work by Germany's right-wing populist government, retreats to his luxurious smart home with wife Lucia. As political tensions rise following an alleged left-wing terrorist attack, their home starts acting independently, manipulating them by revealing intimate secrets and playing them against each other. When two terrorists sought by the regime arrive at Lucia's doorstep for shelter, Johann discovers that Lucia is part of the political resistance. Torn between his love for Lucia and feelings of betrayal, Johann must navigate this revelation as the house takes control.
